Some people called the Epson 4720 nozzle as the EPS3200 nozzle. I think it is inaccurate, because it is not the first Epson nozzle with four to eight rows of 3200 nozzles. It might be more accurate to call the 5113 nozzle the EPS3200 nozzle.

The original Epson 4720 nozzle head has improved over the 5113 nozzle to facilitate the use of external ink cartridges:
The interface of the Epson 4720 nozzle is different from that of the 5113 nozzle, with two fewer needles.

Epson 4720 nozzle main features:
The number of nozzles: Epson 4720 nozzle has four pairs of 8 nozzles, single row of 400 holes, the entire nozzle a total of 3200 nozzles, compared to only 1440 nozzles Epson five generations of nozzles, to be a lot more, with the Epson 5113 nozzle many.

Epson DX5 Printhead VS DX7 Print Nozzle: Which one is Better for You?

Hi~ nice to see you again, my dear friends. The National Day will coming! So from tomorrow to 7th October, I am in holiday. And today's topic is about epson DX5 printhead and DX7. Many people don't know how to choose it for thire business. Now I will tell you sone differences about these two kinds printhead.

Epson DX5 and DX7 Specifications
The first thing to look at when comparing the two print heads is their specifications, because it is this that defines how they perform and gives us an idea of what each head is designed to do. The Epson DX5 head is the older of the two, compatible with both solvent and eco-solvent based inks, and has a native resolution of 1440 dpi, using 1440 nozzles arranged in 8lines of 180 nozzles. It has a firing frequency of 8kHz and a minimum droplet size of 1.5 picolitres.
The Epson DX7 is also solvent and eco-solvent compatible, and it uses 6 lines of 90 nozzles for 540 nozzles and a 1440 dpi resolution, the droplet size is the same 1.5 picolitres at 8kHz.

Epson DX5 and DX7 Performance

While every print job is different, both heads are assessed based on their speed to print a full size A4 image, and while their specifications do look quite similar, this is where the differences show. The Epson DX5 took just 64 seconds to print the full page, while the DX7 took 111. Speed is not everything of course, and the output quality should also be looked at. Here the end result is not as far apart as you may think, the DX7 providing a slower speed, but maintaining high quality output. The DX5 offering slightly higher quality at a much faster speed.

Epson DX5 and DX7 Suitability
The biggest difference between the two heads is not the speed as you may think, but it is in fact operating costs. Not only is the DX5 more expensive to purchase, but the extra nozzles mean it is also a costlier head to maintain. By contrast, the Epson DX7 offers relatively low running costs to offset that slower print speed.

What does that mean for anyone looking at these heads? If you can live with the lower print speed, the Epson DX7 can offer significant savings in running costs, but if you want the fastest prints without sacrificing quality, and running costs are not too much of a worry for you, then the Epson DX5 is the head to choose.

Okay, after reading this article, now you can know how to choose epson print nozzle for your business. Our company sales many kinds printhead, if you want to learn more, please contack us online at any time. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

How to Use Sublimation Paper Complete one Heat Transfer Printing on Fabric?

Hello, nice to see you again, my dear friends! Have you know sublimation printing? Do you know how to use sublimation transfer paper complete one heat transfer printing on fabric? If you know the detail steps, reading and following, I can tell you more!

1. Wash your fabric. Your design will stick better if you wash the fabric, or use a pre-washed fabric. Wash your fabric in accordance with the feiyuepaper recommendations and allow it to dry completely before transferring any design onto it

2. Print your heat transfer design if you are using a photo or intricate design. If you are transferring a photo or intricate design, use a printable heat transfer paper. This allows you to print out your design directly from your computer using a heavy paper setting.
  • Remember that your design will be mirrored when you print it, so if you are including text or want to preserve direction in your image, you will need to flip it horizontally in a photo editing software before printing.
3. Print a template if you are transferring a solid pattern. If you are transferring a simple pattern in just 1 or 2 colors, you can print your template directly on your heat transfer vinyl sheets. Then, use a precision knife or scissors to cut out your design.

  • Remember that your design will be mirrored when you print it. If you are including text or want to preserve direction in your design, you will need to flip it horizontally in a photo editing software prior to printing.
  • If you have a laser cutting machine, you can use it to cut your vinyl design, instead.
4. Arrange your design on the fabric with the backing facing up. Once your design is prepped, arrange it on your fabric. Once you start to iron on the pattern you cannot move or rearrange it. Take time now to ensure everything is where you want it. Make sure that the backing is facing up, as you want to iron the backing, not the vinyl.

5. Use a heat press to transfer your design. Different heat transfer papers require different heat settings, so be sure to check the manufacturer's requirements to properly heat your iron. Then, slowly move the hot iron over the backing. Typically, you will want to hold the iron over each part of the design for 10-20 seconds to ensure that it sticks completely.

  • Be sure to cover the whole design with the iron. Parts of the design that don’t get heat won’t transfer correctly.
  • You may want to stick a thin towel or a piece of parchment paper in between the transfer paper and your iron to prevent wrinkles or scalding.
6. Peel off the backing. Once you have finished using the heat press on your design, allow it to cool for 30-45 seconds. Then, peel off the backing to reveal your newly completed design. If you find any parts of the transfer still sticking to the backing, run your heat transfer press over them again before continuing to peel.

Okay, after reading this article, I believe that you must know the process which how to operate. If you have any other needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

You should following these steps.
1. Converting a brand-new Epson printer
If your Epson printer is brand-new out of the box, and has never been used, you can proceed straight to using our inks. Do not install the Epson cartridges provided with the printer. Instead, either install a set of refillable cartridges with our bottled ink or a set of compatible sublimation cartridges.
Recommended items:
To use sublimation cartridges:
  1. Set of Skyimage Sublimation Cartridges
  2. For printers that have two black slots: Photo Black Cleaning Cartridge
To use sublimation ink bottles:
  1. Set of Skyimage Sublimation Inks
  2. Set of Refillable Cartridges
  3. Chip Resetter
  4. For printers that have two black slots: Photo Black Cleaning Cartridge or Bottled Purge Fluid

2. Converting a used Epson printer
If your Epson printer is currently using any other ink (Epson-brand ink, compatible ink, another brand of sublimation ink), it is absolutely necessary that you purge all old ink from the printer's lines prior to installing SKYIMAGE Sublimation Ink.

  • Before starting the conversion process, print a nozzle check to confirm that the printhead is working properly. Do not attempt to perform a conversion on a printer that is not printing correctly.
  • Ensure that you have a spare maintenance tank or a maintenance tank resetter available before moving on.
  • Remove all the old ink cartridges and install a set of cleaning cartridges (or a set of refillable cartridges filled with bottled purge fluid).
  • Do the initial fill procedure to clear the old ink from the lines and replace it with purge fluid. Repeat the initial fill procedure once more to flush all residues.
  • Remove the cleaning cartridges and install the sublimation ink.
  • Perform the initial fill procedure to fill the lines with sublimation ink for printing!

Note: Some printers have two black slots (photo black & matte black). Only the matte black slot needs to be used. Leave the cleaning cartridge inside the photo black slot, as this slot will not be used in printing.

3. After the conversion of your printer
With your printer now converted to SKYIMAGE Sublimation Ink, you can start sublimation printing. For best results, print your images onto a sublimation transfer paper specifically intended for sublimation printing. How to Keep Your Inkjet Printer with Good Effect? You Know the Tip of Maintenance?

With the development of sublimation printing, the inkjet printer wide application in this field. But the printhead of inkjet printer broken easily, so we should maintain your digital inkjet printer.

Printer Maintenance: if a plotter lives long, a business may prosper.

Large format printers, like any other type of machines, need regular maintenance to increase its longevity. Nonetheless, frequent and proper maintenance policies help not only save significant amounts of money, but also regular maintenance is necessary to keep getting high-quality prints out of the machine.

Our years of experience in this industry have taught us valuable lessons related to printer maintenance and we will like to share some of that accumulated knowledge with you in this article. We will not go into too much detail since this will not be a tutorial or a “how to” manual to fix specific issues. We will simply comment on a few general recommended practices that we employ to maintain our equipment printing smoothly.

Periodic care keeps printers healthy and happy.
For a printing company, printers are a fundamental part of the production process. The failure in one of these high-tech machines could have catastrophic consequences starting with a negative impact on the workflow, followed by turnaround time variations and unhappy customers. Printers cost money but are also the moneymaker for print shops, so neglecting their care will never be a smart business decision.

Every manufacturer recommends specific maintenance schedules for their machines. That is the first rule to printer maintenance we follow: listen to what the manufacturer or supplier has to say about taking care of the machine they built. Another recommendation relates to using the right tools for even the small tweaks. For example, we use only lint-free cloths and factory maintenance fluid for cleaning accumulated dust and dirt build-up, that way we protect our print-heads. In addition, for pinch rollers, print heaters and other areas that have contact with media we use sometimes Isopropyl Alcohol as a general purpose cleaner.

The “best equipment” is nothing without proper care.
One of the key elements that have lead us to our success in the large format industry has been our cutting-edge equipment capabilities. But, like any other machines, our printers could only give us so much before breaking down or start to lose their print quality. We understand that to keep our quality prints, we need to take proper care of our printing tools, and believe it, we do. Whether we are talking about checking the system that controls the ink stability and tank levels, or simply wiping off the accumulated dirt, we would not be able to deliver the outstanding high-quality prints we are known for, without attention to our printer maintenance regimen.

Okay, these all above are my share about the maintenance of inkjet printer during digital printing. If you have any other needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

Doing These 4 things Can Protect Your Ink Cartridges Efficiently

Hello, nice to see you again, my dear friends. Today is a sunny day in Nanjing. I got a nice feeling. And today's topic is about printer cartridge. When the printer starts flashing 'low ink' , what are you feeling? I gussed that your feeling is bad. Becauese keeping the printer fed and happy is a costly affair, and cartridges can be expensive, then the less you have to replace the ink the better.

Buying remanufactured cartridges can help cut down costs, but proper care and handling your printer cartridges can also go a long way to helping your ink cartridges last longer. In order to pretect you ink cartridges, what can we do?

Handling your cartridges
It may seem like magic, you insert the ink cartridge and your printer reproduces what’s on your computer screen. The magic comes from all the electronic elements working together to perform the task of putting ink to paper. Your ink cartridge has contact points that connect to the printer for communication. It’s important not to touch these connection points when handling your cartridges to avoid causing damage as they scratch easily. Your printer won’t work well if these connection points are dusty, so it’s best to remove any dust gently with a lint-free cloth or Q-tip.

Installing your cartridges
Always install your cartridges according to the printer’s manual. If your cartridges are new, allow them to stand upright for a few hours before installing for the ink to settle in the right position and reach room temperature. Shipment can cause the ink to settle incorrectly, which may lead to problems.

Storing your cartridges
Correct storage can go a long way to maintaining your cartridges. Always place cartridges upright when storing and keep sealed in the original packaging to avoid drying out. Refilled cartridges should be stored in a ziplock bag or airtight container (if you’ve opened the packaging of a new cartridge store them like this as well). Keeping them in their packaging or a container will also help prevent a buildup of dust, which can affect how well your printer works. Cartridges should be stored in a cool, dry, and dark area away from sunlight.

Prolong the life of your cartridges
If your cartridge is in use, there are some steps you can take to keep it in good working order for maximum use. As strange as it sounds, printing regularly will lengthen the life of your cartridges. This keeps them from drying up or getting clogged. You can also save ink by printing unimportant documents in draft mode, as this uses less ink and limiting the use of the cleaning function, while helpful, it uses a lot of ink.

Refilling your cartridges
If you are using refillable ink cartridges it is important not to let them run completely dry before taking them in for refilling. This can damage the cartridge by causing the print head nozzle to burn out. Refill your cartridge as soon as the low ink light comes on (or if you start seeing signs in the quality of the prints).

Okay, doing these four things you can better maintain you dye ink cartridges. If you have any other needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.

7 Tips To Guide You How to Maintain the Dye Sublimation Inkjet Printer

Hello, good afternoon, my dear friends, today topic is about how to protect you sublimation inkjet printer. As we know, sublimation printers are one of the staple appliances found in digital printing and like most electronic devices require regular maintenance to keep in perfect working order. There is nothing more exasperating than a malfunctioning printer when you urgently need to it working. Luckily, I will tell you the tips to maintian your sublimation inkjet printer.

Top maintenance tips
Taking good care of your printer will help it last longer. Investing in a maintenance kit is a great idea to assist in extending your printer’s lifespan. Maintenance kits can include cleaning products and replaceable parts, which can come in handy when parts wear out.
We’ve put together some handy tips to help you keep your trusty printer ticking over for longer:

Clean the printheads
The printhead is the part of your printer which transfers ink onto the paper. It is possible for the printheads to become clogged. A clogged printhead can be identified by white lines running across your printout. It’s important to consult your printer’s manual before attempting to clean the printheads to ensure you do it correctly. Some printers are able to self-clean, and just require a few clicks of a button to get the job done, but the printheads can be cleaned manually too. Try avoid cleaning your printheads more than need be as this process does use up ink.

Keep your sublimation printer clean
Dust can build up in your printer and cause both jams and streaks of unwanted ink on your pages. Ensure your printer is always kept clean inside and out. Use a damp, lint-free cloth to clean the outside of your printer. This will remove the dust and dirt particles that accumulate on the exterior of the printer and help prevent a build up inside the printer. Particles inside the printer can be removed by using a small, pressure-controlled vacuum or a cotton swab and purified water. Be sure to check your manual to confirm which areas of your printer shouldn’t be swabbed and resist the urge to apply too much pressure.

Avoid sublimation paper jams
Mechanical errors sometimes occur despite our best efforts. As frustrating as a paper jam may be, it is best to deal with it calmly and avoid yanking the paper out of the printer. Your manual will provide guidelines on how best to deal with the dreaded paper jam, but usually using two hands to gently and slowly prise the paper out of the machine is the best approach. Take care to avoid damaging any internal parts of the printer or leaving behind ripped pieces of paper. Try to avoid paper jams altogether by always ensuring the paper in your printer is new, no torn or dog-eared pieces, and not over-filling the paper tray.

Consider the placement of your inkjet printer
The area you choose to place your printer can have an impact on its lifespan. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or directly in line with any air vents. Both heat and dry air can have a negative impact on your printer.
Be cautious
Always take care when opening your printer for maintenance. Remember to always turn the power off first and try not to touch any moving parts or the hot fusers. Taking these precautions will prevent any accidental damage. It’s also a good idea to turn your printer off when it is not in use as they generate a large amount of heat while on.

Use your printer regularly
It is advisable to keep your printer in regular use to prevent the ink from drying up. If the ink is left to dry up it could result in clogging the printhead which could potentially cause serious damage. Printing a page or two every now and then helps keep your printer in good working condition.

Okay, these all above are my share about the maintanence of dye sublimation printer. If you have any other needs or questions welcome to contact us at any time. We will provide you the best quality product and service. Hope my article can be useful to you. Thank you for your reading.
